Allisa’s Butterfly – No. 11 of the Lady Butterfly Series

No 11 of the Lady Butterfly Series.  Allisa’s Butterfly is a 7″ X 5″ painting, done with watercolor and ink.  The painting itself is painted on 140 lb hot pressed professional watercolor paper and comes mounted in a 10″ x 8″ inch black matt, custom cut to fit the 7″ x 5″ art piece with white trim.  This painting can be mounted in a common 10×8 inch frame of your choice. Please note:  A frame is not included with this purchase.  This is a perfect painting for a smaller wall space. The background of this painting is done in shades of blue watercolor creating a soft cloudy background.  The butterfly itself is done in black ink and sits atop a colorful flower of yellows, oranges and reds.  This painting is dedicated to the artist’s  son’s fiance, and named after her.
