Bottom line: good quality. Easy to “install” and definitely beats spending $500 for a new stock sub. Mine sounds like newI repaired a blown stock sub in my Lexus SC430. I was a little weary about using this kit and how effective it might be but I’m pleasantly surprised so far. If you are good with basic instructions this kit is really simple to use. The most difficult part by far was removing the speaker from my car. The sound is infinitely better and the speaker works like new.Stock subs: 100% recommendAftermarket subs: since they push so much more wattage and the speaker moves much more I’d suggest just buying a new sub. This kit seems like it’s good quality but I couldn’t imagine it would hold up too well in a 1000 watt sub or something crazy like that.
