Our goldendoodle, Lucy, has been on this diet since her xray showed a bladder full of struvite stones. This is supposed to help bust them up so she won’t need surgery. It seems to be slowly working as her second xray showed less stones. However, she doesn’t like it very much. The texture is pretty solid. So we have had to doctor it up so she will eat it. After much research, we found that if we add chicken broth or a wee bit of hydrated freeze dried turkey she will eat it.
