they work great, but remember they are for aluminum valve covers which are thicker then stamped steel valve covers. I (incorrectly) used them with steel valve covers and they will bottom out in the hole before they get really tight enough. A couple extra washers did the job and they worked great. one of those load spreaders would have probably done the job also.
