I was introduced to Mrs. Stewart’s Liquid Bluing nearly fifty years ago when for a junior-high-school science project, I used the product to create a salt crystal garden. I understood the concept then that a bluing agent would serve to whiten yellowing clothing.As I grow older and my physical activity diminishes, my clothes seem to last longer. As the clothing lasts longer, they begin to show a reduction of brilliance. They yellow. Recalling that Mrs. Stewart’s is made to counter that effect, I purchased a 6-pack.After a couple of times through the laundry cycle with Mrs. Stewart, my undergarments are regaining some of the brilliance that aging has taken from them. Mrs. Stewart’s works. As advertised. I’m pleased with the product and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who wishes to restore the brilliance of their whites and bright colors.
