This will work like a charm on the 43cc augers available in the big box hardware stores – it would appear they’re all the same basic design. I bought one of the Sportsman brand 43cc augers from Home Depot and like an idiot, left it outside for a very long time without fuel stabilizer while one of my fence projects got put on hold and life got busy. I went to start it up a year later and the fuel had gone rotten and dissolved all the fuel lines in the tank as well as gummed up the carb. An almost-factory replacement carb and fuel lines from an equivalent powersports retailer would run nearly $50 with shipping, so i decided to take a gamble on this particular kit because of how much you get for such a good price. After cleaning out the fuel tank and removing the old carb, these new parts fit perfectly, with the only truly difficult parts being threading the fuel return lines through the tank grommet and getting the fuel feed line onto the larger of the two nipples on the carb…it just takes time and some sore fingers. Otherwise it is literally plug-and-play with their provided parts and after priming the fuel bulb, roared to life on the second pull. And here I thought this little engine might be totally shot. With a very slight adjustment to the idle set screw it runs smoothly all the way from idle to its maximum RPM. Unbelievable for $15.
